Outbound Trade Mission to VietnamWood 2025

Agricultural imports from the U.S. to Vietnam have increased over the years, and today Vietnam is its 8th-largest importer in the world. For U.S. wood species products, Vietnam was the sixth-largest importer in 2024, with the country purchasing $350.1 million of products, an increase of 38% from 2023. This growth is expected to continue as the demand for high-quality raw wood species products increases. The combination of Vietnam's growing demand for wood species products, favorable trade relations, and its expanding furniture and construction sectors makes it a strong market for U.S. exports.

To drive export sales of wood species products from Southern United States to Vietnam, an outbound trade mission will take place on November 16-19, 2025, leading up to the VietnamWood trade show on November 19-22. Via the mission, U.S. exporters can foster trade relationships, promote U.S. wood species products, and facilitate business deals with Vietnamese importers, as well as understand the buyers’ operation and the market in Vietnam.

• Reimbursement of lodging within the Federal per diem rate for one company representative with submittal of required supporting documentation*
