Daniel Tisch, CEO, Argyle
Daniel is one of Canada’s leading advisors to business and government leaders on communications, public engagement and reputation management. A former senior advisor to two Canadian cabinet ministers, he has counseled a long list of Global 500/Fortune 500 companies.
Daniel is a Fellow of the Canadian Public Relations Society and was the 2011-2013 Chair of the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management, the confederation representing 160,000 communications professionals in 70 countries. He appears frequently in print and broadcast media, commenting on corporate reputation, crisis management, leadership and political communication.
Jessie Sitnick, Vice President, Corporate & Public Affairs, Argyle
Jessie is among the most experienced and effective clean economy communicators in the sector. She excels at communicating policy ideas and social change messages to diverse audiences. As Former head of strategic communications for WWF-Canada, Jessie lead the communications and organizational responses to diverse, complex, and - at times - controversial issues from pipelines, to green energy policies, to Arctic drilling. She developed the narratives for WWF’s partnerships with large corporations - Coca-Cola, Loblaw, and HP - and helped translate and articulate the role of market-based tools (such as voluntary standards e.g. FSC and MSC) in advancing conservation goals.
As the founding communications director for Canada’s Ecofiscal Commission, Jessie developed and launched the brand, its communication properties, and its overarching communications strategy. Jessie was also instrumental in the highly successful public launch of the Smart Prosperity initiative.
