Gearing up for 2025
And a Strong Finish for 2024!

As Summer comes to a close, it’s not too early to start planning for 2025. You are now able to reconfirm your MySUSTA account details for 2025 and be ready for the new program year. That presents a great opportunity to keep the momentum going!

As we reported last month, companies participating in SUSTA activities in 2023 – both Global Events and the 50% CostShare programs – made sales in 68 countries! Including 79 first time export sales to a new market!

Moreover, companies reported meeting more than 2,000 quality leads in 2023.That’s a trend continuing in 2024. Here's what we’re hearing from SUSTA companies so far this year:

  • … high quality buyers with good interest in our products!
  • The Inbound Trade Mission before this show was very good because the buyers from other countries are high quality customers and they were seriously looking for products of USA.
  • This is first the time we participated in a SUSTA trade show … and we did find more serious buyers than previously expected

Indeed, SUSTA activities have kept pace in 2024, and there are more opportunities to come through the end of the year; check out the schedule of events on SUSTA’s website. You’ll see the line-up of events includes opportunities for retail products and food service products; value added products, seafood, and horticultural products. There are trade shows and inbound missions, with a mix of familiar, tried and true, proven activities sprinkled with some brand new trade shows, all focused on getting your products in front of quality buyers.

Especially for new to export companies, don’t overlook the opportunities for doing market research before you go to one of SUSTA’s events. There are ample opportunities to schedule a one-on-one virtual consultation with our in-country consultants. These consultations are great opportunities to get direct feedback from experts in the market about the possibilities for you products. Our in-country consultants are available in India, China, Hong Kong, Canada, Europe, the Caribbean and Central America, Mexico, Africa, and South America.

I want to thank all the companies who have participated in SUSTA’s activities and programs, and especially thank those who provide feedback through the follow-up surveys which come about six months after the event. This information helps us compile and benchmark the year-end results, and your feedback about the shows and the service SUSTA provides helps improve our schedule of events.
