The Kentucky Department of Agriculture (KDA) works with Kentucky agricultural producers and companies to help them export their agricultural commodities and products. KDA provides export assistance through identification of trade leads, market research, registration of products, and other services. KDA also works closely with contacts in the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development, U.S. Department of Commerce and the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service to assist companies looking to export.

As a SUSTA member, KDA assists companies by coordinating educational outreach seminars and participating in international trade shows and trade missions.

Kentucky Proud is the official state marketing program for agricultural products. Approved Kentucky Proud members may apply for KDA marketing grants, buy promotional items at cost, display the Kentucky Proud logo, and take advantage of many more member benefits.
