SUSTA receives inquiries from foreign buyers searching for specific U.S. products. When a trade lead matches your company’s online profile (created when you register for a MySUSTA account), you will receive an email prompting you to log into your MySUSTA account. Once you are logged in, you can click the Trade Leads button to see details about the buyer and what products they are looking for.
The channels through which these leads come to SUSTA are via USDA’s Foreign Agriculture Service (overseas posts), our Global Events Activity Managers and our Foreign Consultants. The foreign buyers are vetted to a degree, but SUSTA suggests that you further fully vet all foreign buyers.
Each lead will remain on the website for 90 days. We encourage companies to follow up on trade leads right away! Trade leads are a free resource to all registered MySUSTA account users.
